ifirCITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> EXHIBIT I <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant shall perform services as set forth below. <br /> A. Assessment of Fair Housing <br /> 1. Provide a concise overview of the current HUD requirements and guidelines to ensure full <br /> compliance with relevant regulations. <br /> 2. Conduct a thorough examination of the Regional Assessment of Fair Housing Plan for <br /> 2025-2029 as well as any Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice prepared for <br /> jurisdictions within Orange County in the last five years. <br /> i, Perform a comprehensive review of actions taken by participating jurisdictions to <br /> address identified impediments. <br /> 3. Collaborate with each fair housing service organization operating within Orange County <br /> to gain a deep understanding of current fair housing issues. <br /> 4. Collect relevant data and information to prepare the Regional AFH in accordance with <br /> current HUD regulations and the Fair Housing Planning Guide. <br /> 5. Engage with each participating jurisdiction, housing authority within Orange County, and <br /> relevant regional agencies or task forces to gather and analyze pertinent information for <br /> the Regional AFH, ensuring alignment with current HUD regulations and the Fair Housing <br /> Planning Guide. <br /> 6. Conduct community engagement activities to hear directly about fair housing issues <br /> affecting residents of Orange County, reaching out to: <br /> i. Tenants, <br /> ii. Landlords, <br /> iii. Homeowners, <br /> iv. Fair housing organizations, <br /> v. Civil rights and advocacy organizations, <br /> vi. Legal services providers, <br /> vii. Social services providers, <br /> viii. Housing developers, and <br /> ix. Industry groups <br /> 7. Facilitate outreach to fair housing stakeholders and the general public, providing <br /> opportunities for involvement in the Regional AFH development process. <br />
