Appeal Application No. 2024-01 for Construction of a 23’-4” Tall Accessory Building (2221 <br />N Heliotrope Drive) <br />November 19, 2024 <br />Page 12 <br />4 <br />6 <br />4 <br />8 <br />Public Notification and Community Outreach <br />Project notifications were posted, published, and mailed in accordance with City and <br />State regulations for the Planning Commission hearing and for the City Council appeal <br />hearing, as required by Sec.41-645 of the SAMC. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines, <br />the project was reviewed and determined to be exempt from further review pursuant to <br />Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines (Class 3- New Construction or Conversion of <br />Small Structures) because the project involves the construction of a small accessory <br />structure. Based on this analysis, Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. <br />2022-11 will be filed for this project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />EXHIBIT(S) <br />1.
