We try to <br />maintain the historic nature and preserve what those before us built <br />and celebrate what our community has become known for with <br />visitors annually coming to tour our neighborhood. I do not want to <br />see this precedence set in the neighborhood which eventually could <br />impact the property values and unique charm. This home currently <br />already stands out with its poorly maintained painted exterior and the <br />warrior statue erected in the front yard atypical of what you would <br />find in a residential neighborhood and one unique like FP. The build <br />proposal creates a highly visible structure that is not aligned with the <br />architecture of the community. This house is on a main road in the <br />neighborhood and distracts from the historic charm Floral Park is <br />known for.
