Use caution when opening attachments or <br />links. <br />Dear Council Members, <br />Thank you again for your service to our community! Vote NO on agenda item #15 and ask the <br />staff to work with stakeholders on this issue, rather than introducing a ban. This is a <br />complicated issue and the outcome affects thousands of people in this city. The staff did <br />present a study to the planning commission in December of 2023. The outcome of that study <br />was positive and the commission was supportive of a taxed and regulated program for STR's <br />NOT a ban. How did we go from that study to a ban being introduced and why didn't this <br />ordinance first go through the planning commission? <br />I2-1 <br />Thank you to those of you who mentioned that you are in support of the staff working with <br />stakeholders like myself on this issue. Thank you also to the mayor for voting NO on <br />November 19th and also in April. I do hope that the staff will meet with us in a timely manner <br />and create regulations that will be presented to you sooner then later, as your vote tonight <br />matters to us and so many stake holders in this city! <br />I have worked hard for 7 years to get great reviews and shutting down my business <br />temporarily will be devastating for myself, my employees, one of who spoke at the last <br />meeting, and many other hosts like myself.
