The James Irvine Foundation <br />GRANTAGREEMENT <br />This Grant from The James Irvine Foundation (the "Foundation") is to be used only for the purposes <br />described below and is subject to your acceptance of the conditions specified below. This Agreement will <br />be effective when it has been signed by an authorized representative of your organization and a signed <br />copy is received by the Foundation (electronic PDF acceptable.) <br />Grantee: City of Santa Ana <br />Grant Amount: $300,000.00 <br />Grant Number: 24-21619 <br />Time Period: Beginning, for 24 months. Only expenses related to this time period may be <br />charged against grant funds. <br />Project Title: To develop an enhanced partnership strategy between Santa Ana WD8 and EDD, <br />collaboratively identifying shared goals, resources, and activities in order to <br />improve coordination, service delivery, and support to low-income communities <br />in Santa Ana. <br />Goal(s): 1. To improve partnerships with the EDD and other co -located partners and <br />improve service delivery, align resources, and create a seamless support <br />system that fosters long-term economic stability and career success for <br />marginalized and vulnerable populations and communities in Santa Ana. <br />2. To enhance the internal capacity of the SAWDB Career Services staff and <br />its WORK Center partners. <br />Objective(s): 1. To host planning meetings with EDD and other co -located partners to <br />improve coordination, share resources, and streamline service delivery <br />for underserved and low -wage populations. <br />2. To launch a joint initiative with EDD that aligns workforce services, <br />specifically FDD's RESEA and the SAWDB's workforce programs. <br />3. To train and upskill workforce professionals from SAWDB, EDD, and <br />other partner staff working at the WORK Center to advance job search <br />technology and emerging industry skills through workshops, online <br />modules, and hands-on training sessions. <br />4.
