M. <br />RECONVENE <br />MINUTES: Mayor Amezcua reconvened the City Council meeting to order at 9:40 P.M. <br />33.Investigation Regarding Councilmember Johnathan Ryan Hernandez <br />(Continued from the Special Meeting of October 28, 2024; Item No. 1) <br />Department(s): City Manager's Office <br />Recommended Action: Discuss and Address Potential Remedies Regarding the <br />Investigator's Sustained Findings Regarding Councilmember Johnathan Ryan <br />Hernandez and Take Potential Action or Direct Staff Accordingly. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Lopez moved to receive and file the investigation <br />report, seconded by Councilmember Penaloza. <br />MINUTES: Mayor Pro Tem Phan spoke regarding the investigation report, <br />requested that Councilmember Hernandez attend training related to working with <br />staff, and that he recuse himself from the appointment of Mayor Pro Tern for one <br />year. <br />MINUTES: Councilmember Bacerra requested a formal censure and <br />Councilmember Hernandez be removed from all boards, commissions, and <br />committees he currently serves on. <br />Councilmember Lopez spoke regarding the lack of consistency regarding <br />Council's processes. <br />CITY COUNCIL 23 NOVEMBER 19, 2024 <br />
