Ibarra, Evelyn
From:
D Espi <
Sent:
Tuesday, December 17, 2024 2:46 PM
To:
eComment
Subject:
Ward 3 Voter in SUPPORT OF ITEM #29
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Dear Mayor and ALL Council Members,
I am a lifelong resident of Santa Ana. I have lived in Ward 2, Ward 4 and now in Ward 3 and I can tell you the sentiment
in EVERY WARD is the same... our FAMILIES DESERVE BETTER. It's time to give our PD the tools they need to protect our
residents and city. It's the right thing to do. Vote like your kids, parents and grandparents health and well-being depend
on it, because it does.
I support ITEM 29! IF WE DO NOT STRENGTHEN OUR ANTI -CAMPING LAWS, SANTA ANA WILL ATTRACT THE HOMELESS
TRANSIENTS FROM OTHER CITIES WHO DO HAVE AND ENFORCE STRONG ANTI -CAMPING LAWS!
Start protecting us - law abiding residents and stop babying the homeless transients (many of which are not even from
here and commit crimes every day!). The majority areNOT those who fell on hard times. The ones who want help, seek
and accept help. These are criminals & drug users who have been released from jail with no permanent residence & left
to terrorize most Orange County cities... They don't tolerate it and neither should we! Those cities put their residents'
safety first.
1
