Public Works Agency <br />www.santa-ana.org/pw <br />Item # 15 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Staff Report <br />August 16, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Agreements for On -Call Engineering Services <br />AGENDA TITLE <br />Approve Agreements with Tetra Tech, Inc., Ardurra Group, Inc., Psomas, Kimley-Horn & <br />Associates, Inc., Huitt-Zollars, Inc., and Tait & Associates, Inc. for On -Call Engineering <br />Services in an Aggregate Amount Not to Exceed $2,000,000 for up to a Five -Year Term <br />(Non -General Fund) <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with Tetra Tech, Inc., Ardurra Group, <br />Inc., Psomas, Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc., Huitt-Zollars, Inc., and Tait & Associates, <br />Inc. to provide on -call engineering services, for a shared aggregate amount not to exceed <br />$2,000,000, for a three-year term beginning August 16, 2022 and expiring August 15, <br />2025, with provisions for two, one-year extensions, subject non -substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On May 2, 2022, the Public Works Agency released Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 22- <br />002, by which it sought the services of qualified consulting firms to provide engineering <br />services. The RFP was advertised on PlanetBids, and proposals were received <br />electronically via PlanetBids on May 24, 2022. <br />The City notified a total of 766 regional vendors via PlanetBids, 36 of which are Santa <br />Ana based. Sixty vendors requested bidding documents. Nine proposals were received <br />and evaluated by a selection committee.
