the City of Santa Ana, lies in the County of Orange, State of Call- <br /> <br />fornia, and is described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the City boundary of the City of <br /> Santa Ana, California, said point being on the Southeast <br /> corner of Lot 25 of the Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract as <br /> shown on a map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous Record <br /> Book 4, page 624, records of Los Angeles County, California, <br /> said point being at the ihtersection of the center lines of <br /> Memory Lane and Bristol Street; and running thence Easterly <br /> along said City boundary and along said center line of Memory <br /> Lane, 587 feet more or less to an angle point in said City <br /> boundary; thence Northerly along a line parallel to the East <br /> line of Lot 14, of said Ports, Borden and Sidwell Tract, and <br /> along said City boundary 535.92 feet; thence departing from <br /> said City boundary Westerly along a straight line which is <br /> parallel with the South line of said Lots 25, and 14 and its <br /> extension 1,447 feet more or less to the East line of that <br /> certain 630 feet strip of land described in Parcel 2, in the <br /> deed to the County of Orange recorded May 25, 1932, in Book 557, <br /> Page 264, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence, <br /> in a Southwesterly direction along said East line 570 feet <br /> more or less to its intersection with said City boundary; thence, <br /> Easterly along said City boundary 1,090 feet more or less to <br /> the point of beginning. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That "Bristol and Memory Lane N. Annex" <br /> <br />is hereby designated as an appropriate name by which said territory <br /> <br />shall be known for the purpose of this annexation. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That notice is hereby given that <br />October 17, 1960, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, <br />City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time <br />and place fixed at which said Council will hear protests against this <br />Annexation made by any person owning property within said territory. <br />At any time before said hour any owner of property within said terri- <br />tory may file written protest against this proposed Annexation.
