4 NATIONAL <br />SAFETY <br />SERVICES <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 24-028 Annual and Quarterly Inspections for rescue equipment <br />5/28/2024 <br />City of Santa Ana — Public Works Agency <br />220 South Daisy Avenue <br />Santa Ana, CA 92703 <br />National Safety Services (NSSI) will provide the below listed items to the City of Santa Ana — Public <br />Works Agency. NSSI will provide the below listed quarterly and annual inspection and maintenance <br />program for your confined space rescue van and equipment. This quote does not cover inspection of the <br />Ford van or Onan generator. <br />NSSI will assist the City of Santa Ana — Public Works Agency with a quarterly Inspection and <br />Maintenance program. On the first month of every new quarter, NSSI will come to your facility to <br />inspect the rescue van's contents. This inspection will cover all the contents on your rescue van (Scott <br />equipment, CIVIC equipment, Fall Protection equipment, MSA monitors and associated equipment, <br />Motorola Radios, and all other rescue related items). All findings will be documented in the City of Santa <br />Ana's digital Master Inspection logs. Any out of services items will be tagged and submitted to The City <br />of Santa Ana's supervisor in charge of the rescue van. This process will be an all -day process (8-10 hours <br />minimum). If any items need to be refilled, replaced, or taken out of services, NSSI will communicate this <br />with The City of Santa Ana's supervisor in charge of the rescue van to obtain permission and issue NSSI a <br />new Purchase Order number (PO#) for the required equipment. <br />NSSI will assist the City of Santa Ana with annual inspections of required equipment. This equipment will <br />need to be tested at an approved facility and taken out of use while this process takes place. The below <br />listed items will need this annual recertification: <br />• Scott SCBA's — Need annual flow testing. <br />• Scott Ska-Pak's — Need annual flow testing. <br />• SRL's — Need annual inspection and recertification from a certified SRL technician. <br />5562 Research Drive, Unit B, Huntington Beach, CA 92649 <br />
