SOLICITATION # CH16012 <br />A subcontractor will be actively involved in understanding and shaping any Statements of Work created for <br />the services of a deal in order to make sure that they have the capacity to meet all of the necessary <br />requirements. These Statements of Work will dictate the terms upon which the subcontractor is deployed <br />for services, so Carahsoft will work specifically with subcontractors that are active in the public sector and <br />understand the nuances of selling to government entities. <br />8.3 Working with Purchasing Entities <br />8.3.1 Offeror must describe how it will work with Purchasing Entities before, during, and after a Data <br />Breach, as defined in the Attachments and Exhibits. Include information such as: <br />• Personnel who will be involved at various stages, include detail on how the Contract Manager in <br />Section 7 will be involved; <br />• Response times; <br />• Processes and timelines; <br />• Methods of communication and assistance; and <br />• Other information vital to understanding the service you provide. <br />Security is of the uptmost importance to all of the Service providers that Carahsoft is submitting. Should and actual <br />breach occur, it is the first priority of Carahsoft and the service provider to identify the source of the breach and <br />implement safe guards to prevent one from happening in the future. The Service Provider will promptly notify the <br />Purchasing Entity of the incident. Notification of the breach will be provided by the service directly to the security or <br />customer contact that is identified by the Purchasing Entity. Methods of communication could include phone or email <br />notification. <br />8.3.2 Offeror must describe how it will not engage in nor permit its agents to push adware, software, or <br />marketing not explicitly authorized by the Participating Entity or the Master Agreement. <br />Carahsoft ensures that no unwanted marketing efforts are made to customers through an easy to manage <br />opt out system in our database. Carahsoft can also limit communications by vendor to ensure that only <br />those vendors approved by the customer reach out with marketing materials or product updates. Carahsoft <br />will never support or assist in the pushing of adware or unwanted software to participating customers. <br />3.3.3 Offeror must describe whether its application -hosting environments support a user test/staging <br />environment that is identical to production. <br />For applicable cloud offerings, user test/ staging environments are available that are identical to real-time <br />production environments. <br />8.3.4 Offeror must describe whether or not its computer applications and Web sites are be accessible to <br />people with disabilities, and must comply with Participating entity accessibility policies and the Americans <br />with Disability Act, as applicable. J <br />The user interfaces provided for within this proposal are accessible to people with disabilities using <br />assistive technologies. <br />8.3.5 Offeror must describe whether or not its applications and content delivered through Web browsers are <br />be accessible using current released versions of multiple browser platforms (such as Internet Explorer, <br />Firefox, Chrome, and Safari) at minimum. <br />carahsoft carahsoft <br />
