Security Policies and Procedures <br />The letter will notify the person of the nature of this infraction and of sanctions for <br />future potential infractions. <br />Second Security Infraction or First Serious Infraction <br />If the infraction is: <br />1. A serious infraction, or <br />2. The second infraction of either type within 3 years <br />The sanction will include a written letter of reprimand that is given to the person at <br />fault, placement of a copy of the letter in the employee file, and one week's suspension <br />without pay. The letter will notify the person of the nature of this infraction and of <br />sanctions for future potential infractions. <br />Third Security Infraction or Second Serious Infraction <br />If the infraction is: <br />1. A second serious infraction within 3 years, or <br />2. A third infraction of any type within 3 years <br />The sanction will be dismissal from the workforce. <br />XVII. Legal and Regulatory Issues <br />A. Legal processes <br />Responses to subpoenas, deposition requests and other legal issues will be referred to <br />and handled by the CEO. The ISO will not respond to such legal processes without <br />company legal counsel. <br />B. Copyrights and licenses <br />Virtru may have agreements in place governing the use and handling of software, <br />information and other tools that are owned by other entities. All users and information <br />owners will comply with those agreements. <br />Users are responsible for complying with copyrights regarding any material obtained <br />via the Internet. This includes files, graphics, software, audio and video materials. <br />Users may not agree to a new copyright license, unless given permission by the ISO. <br />Licensed software must be used in accordance with the license agreement and only the <br />number of copies licensed must be created or used. <br />Rev.2015.8.6 <br />35 <br />
