RESOLUTION NO. 72-108 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />URGING THE CONTINUED COOPERATION OF THE CALIFORNIA DIVISION <br />OF HIGHWAYS ON THE BROADWAY 0VERCROSSING PROJECT AT THE <br />SANTA ANA FREEWAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the need for an additional crossing of the Santa Ana <br />Freeway, State Route 5, at Broadway has existed for some time, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Division of Highways has developed a <br />preliminary desi~a plan for said proposed crossing, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the preliminary design, the California Division of <br />Highways has consulted with the City Council through the City Director <br />of Public Works, and has considered the con~nents and recommendations of <br />this Council in the preliminary design. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that this Council urges the <br />continued close coordination and cooperation between the California <br />Division of Highways and the City in the development of the final plans <br />for this proposed project and further urges the early construction of <br />this urgently needed crossing of the Santa Aha Freeway. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council send a <br />copy of this resolution to Mr. H.
