<br /> On motion of Councilman Dah]., seconded by Heinly and carried, the fol-
<br /> lowing Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "Ordinance abolishing existing residence
<br /> requirement and establishing an area in
<br /> which City Employees are required to
<br /> maintain their residence"

<br /> was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on
<br /> motion of Co~mcilman Jerome, seconded by Markel and carried, the fol-
<br /> lowing Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "Ordinance amending Article IM of the Santa Aha
<br /> Municipal Code creating changes in district
<br /> boundaries and amending Sheet No. 9 of the
<br /> districting map to show the reclassification"
<br />
<br /> of property on the north side of Grace Street east of Washington Avenu
<br /> connection to the Santa Ana Freeway, Lots 3, 5, 7 and. 9, of Collum's
<br /> Addition, except portions of Lots 3 and 5, in Freeway, from the R-1
<br /> District to the R-3 District, in accordance with amendment application
<br /> of Schuyler A. Southard, was considered, designated Ordinance No. NS-
<br /> lO~ and passed by the following vote:

<br />Streets, consisting of approximately ~9 acres, from the R-1 District
<br />to the M-1 District, in accordance with. amendment application of Nel]i
<br />S. Shivers et al, was considered, designated Ordinance No. NS-lO5 and
<br />passed by the following vote:

<br />On motion:of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Mark~l and carried, action
<br />was continued for two weeks on the amendment applicat~on of Albert B.
<br />Campbell for the reclassification of property on the south si~e of
<br />First Street, from the R-1 and. R-2 Districts to the C-2 District, and
<br />the Manager instructed to contact the applicant requesting a deed for
<br />
<br />the dedication of the alley.

<br />lowing Ordinance entitled:
