Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, <br /> ~filllam Jerome, Milford. W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of. June 20th, 1955, reaSlng of the Minutes was dispensed <br />with an5 approve~ on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by <br />Markel and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing <br />"Hobart St. Annex" <br />Ordinance declaring <br />Annexation <br /> <br />This belng the c~ate set for hearing protests on annexation to the Cit <br />of certai~ uninhabited territory designated "Hobart Street Anne~" and <br />there being no protests, on motion of Councilman Dahl~, seconded by . <br /> <br />Jerome and carried, the follo~,rlng Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance declaring the annexation of.that <br />certain territory designated 'Hobart Street <br />Annex.'" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearin~ <br />Re-establlshin~ <br />Setback Line on <br />Santiago Avenue <br /> <br />was introfuced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br />This being the date set for hearing protests on ~n. re-establishing <br />of setback lines on both sides of Santiago Avenue bet~,~een ~ffashlngton <br />Avenue and the Santa Aua Freeway; C. B. Knickerbocker and seven other <br />property owners stoo~ in protest. On motion of C~uncllman Heln!y, <br /> <br />In.Re <br />Reclassify <br />E. side of Freeway <br />bet. let & Ath ets. <br />H. & J. Mabury Co. <br /> (Ordinance) <br /> <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, the matter was continued for two week~ <br />This being the date set for hearing protests on the amendment applica- <br />tion of H. and J.'Mabury Company and there being no protests against <br />the reclassification of property on the east side of the Santa Aha <br />Freeway between First and Fourth Street, from the R-1 to the "P" Dis- <br /> <br />trlct, on motion of Councilman Helnty, seconded by Markel and carried <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code creating changes in district <br />boundaries and amending sheet No. ~1 of the Dis- <br />tricting Map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Reclassify property <br />on Daisy Street <br />south of let Street <br />George S. Fruehling <br />(Ordinance) <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for secon~ reading. <br />This b~lng the date set for hearing protests on the amendment applica- <br />tion of ~eorL~e S. Frueh!Ing; protests of Walt=r Callan an~ Edmon~ <br />Stephan were heard against the zoning of the property on the north <br />side of Myrtle Street, which faces their subdivision, to the R-3 Dis- <br /> <br />trier.
