Langley, aud il <br />on motion of Cou. ncilm~n Meinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the <br /> <br />communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, <br /> <br />on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the fol- <br /> <br />lowing Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 55-220 concerning parking limitations <br /> and curb markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing red zones on the south side of East Chestnut Street, <br /> <br />of the Southem Pacific tracks, for the Pacific Telephone and Teleg~ap~ <br />Company, Was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, <br /> Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Councilman Dahl, <br />seconded by Heinly and carried, the request of forty residents that a <br />boulevard stop sign be installed at the intersection of Cypress Avenue~l <br />and Anahurst Place, was denied. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Markel, seconded by Dahl and carried,that <br />the curb usage committee submit a report as to the advisability of <br />installing a stop sign on Broadway at Tenth Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />written recommendation of the Manager, dated July 29th, 1955, setting <br /> <br />forth salary step increases for four employees, effective August 1st, <br />1955, was received, filed and approved. <br />Oh motion of Cduncilman Dali1, seconded by Markel and carried, the <br />Attorney was instructed to prepare a Resolution, for presentation at <br />the next meeting, to initiateproceedings for the issuance of revenue <br />bonds to improve the water works system of the City. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the City <br /> <br />Council adJ curried. <br /> <br />~$.~'j~'or Of l~e' ~ity of San~a Anm <br /> <br /> <br />
