RESOLUTION 73-20 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "MEMORY LANE AND SANTA ANA RIVER SOUTH ANNEXATION" WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow contained and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana, California; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved the within annexation and has authorized the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to annex said territory without notice and hearing by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, hereby finds and declares that said territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all of the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at an angle point in the City of Santa Ana, said angle point being on the Northeast corner of the "Memory Lane and River South West Annex" as annexed to the City of Santa Ana by Ordinance NS-358, said point also being a point on the City boundary of the City of Orange as annexed by Annexation No. 266 by Resolution No. 3239, said angle point also being a point in the Easterly line of the Rancho Las Bolsas, as said Easterly line is shown on a map recorded in Book 15, Page 40, Records of Surveys of Orange County; thence departing from said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana and running thence South 70© 50' 40" East along a line parallel with and 40 feet Southerly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Garden Grove Boulevard (Memory Lane), and along the City boundary of the City of Orange a distance of 465 feet, more or less, to a point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, as Annexed by "Bristol and Memory Lane North Annex", by Ordinance NS-479; and to a point in the East line of that certain 630 foot strip of land described in Parcel 2 in the deed to the County of Orange recorded May 25, 1932 in Book 557, Page 264, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence departing frsm the City Boundary of the City of Orange, and running South 23 30' 40" West along said East line, and along said City bound- ary of the City of Santa Ana a distance of 160 feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of the "Bristol and Memory Lane North Annex" and to a point in the North line of that certain area annexed to the City of Santa Ana by Ordinance No. 73 and to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 89© 57' 30" West along said North line of said area annexed by Ordinance No. 73, and along said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana a distance of 500 feet, more or less, to a point in the East line of said "Memory Lane and River South West Annex", and to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 22© 27' 30" East along said East line of said "Memory Lane and River South West Annex", and along said City boundary of Santa Ana a distance of 327 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
