Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, <br />Milford W. DEal, Courtney R. Chandler <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council hawing received copies of the Minutes <br />of Au~a~ust 15th, 1955, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and <br />approved on motion of Counci.lman Heinly, seconded by .Dahl and carried. <br /> <br />In Re This being the date set for hearing protests <br /> <br />Hearing <br /> "Industrial Annex" <br />Ordinance declaring <br />Annexatipn <br /> <br /> on annexation to the <br />C~ty of certain uninhabited[territory designated "Industrial Annex" <br />a~d there being no protestsl, on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded <br /> <br />In Re <br />H~aring <br />Amend.Application <br />Richard P~md <br /> <br />by Dahl and carrie~, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that cer~aln <br /> territory ~esigna~ed ~Industrial Ar;nex,,, <br />was in~roduced,~sonsidered and placed on'file fo~ ~econd reading. <br />Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen Dale H.Heinly, William Jerome, <br /> Milford W. Wild, owner of approx- <br />imately 145 acres at the southeast corner of Delhi and Bristol Street,i! <br />pFotesting the rezoning. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by <br />Jerome an~ carried,.the h~aring was continued until the next meeting <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing <br />Amend.Application <br />Ruth B. English <br />Ordinance <br /> <br /> a~d Mr. Rand ~to be notified. <br /> <br />T~is being the date set forlhearing on the amendment application of <br />R~th B. Eng]ish for the reciaseification of property located on the <br />south side of 17th Street, between King Street and the Santa Ana Rive~!, <br />with a frontage of approxim~ately 175' on King Street an8 540' on 17th <br />Street, from the R-i District to the C-1 District; no protests were <br />'received. On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Dahl and car- <br /> <br />tied, the <br /> <br />following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code creating changes in district <br />boundaries and amending Sheet No. 25 of the <br />districting map to show the reclassification" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Variance <br />Chas. W. Turner <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br />,, <br />Communications were read from the Planning Commission recommending <br />granting of variance tO Charles W. Turner, M.D. to permit the use of <br />property at I16 and 122 East pomona Street for erection of a modern <br /> <br />medical office building, with provision for off-street parking, and <br />from the Department of Public Works that certain improvements are <br /> <br />needed.' On motion 6f Councilman Hqinly, seconded by Markel and car- <br /> <br />In Re <br />Bid acceptance <br />Restroom building <br />at Fairview Ave.Park <br /> <br /> ried, the recommendm$1on of the Planning Commission was approved and <br /> variance granted subject to the conditions of tdae Department of Public <br /> <br />Works. <br /> # <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented by the Manager for l~xe <br /> <br />of a restroom building at Fairview Avenue Park, specification No. <br />672=2, as follows: <br />Bid'of Harry J. TancPedi. Bond in the sum of $2,000.00. <br />Amount of $12,520.00. All applicable taxes included. <br /> <br /> <br />
