<br />P.M." On motion of Counci]m~n Eeinly, seconded by D~bl and carried, the following

<br />Ordinance entitled:

<br />Gode fixing parking meter charges on City owned lot"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the request of the

<br />Trinity Lutheran Church for permissionto use a speaker in the Church towers,

<br />between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M., December 24th, 1955, for the purpose
<br />
<br />of tran~,~tting Chris+~e~ carols, over the speeW-r, was granted.

<br />On rec~udation of the Depa=~ment of Public Works and on motion of Councilman
<br />
<br />Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the request of Orange County Dwellings, Inc.,
<br />
<br />subdividers of proposed Tracts Nos. 2494 and 2495, for an extension of the con-
<br />
<br />ditlon~] approval of the Tentative Map until January 3, 1956, was granted.

<br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the Purchasing Agent
<br />was authorized to ~dvertise for bids for the furnishing of steel poles for mounting
<br />
<br />flood lights at Memorial Park, in accordance with Specification No. 691-1; bids to
<br />
<br /> opened January 3rd, 1956.

<br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconde~ by Jerome and carried, plans and specificatl¢

<br />were approved for the construction of a sanitary sewer on McClay Street from Delhi
<br />
<br />Road to Edinger Street extended and portions of Edinger and Lyon Streets; bids to
<br />
<br />be opened January 16th, 1956.
