ScBroeder, M.D. was denied that a two-hour parking zone be established on North Main Street between 17th and 18th Streets. On rec~ndation of the Manager ,~,',& on motion of Councllm-- Dah~ seconded by Narkel and carried, the request of R.F.Davis that a green zone be established at 825 Riverine Street, was denied. On fecundation of the Mauager and on motion of Counci~m~- Dahl~ seeon~e~ by Jerome and carried, the request of George E. Meurs , 1~O1 Linwood Avenue, was granted for an over-size driveway in order that the packing area ~11 be ad~acent On rec~udation of the ~-~er and on motion of Councilman l)nhl, seconded by Neinly and carried, the request of Richfield Oil Corporation was granted to extend the present driveway 5 feet westerly, to a total width of ~0 feet, at the easterly end of the p~operty at First ~ Broadway. On rec~ndation of the Manager and on motion of Counc~ma- Dahl, seconded by Re!~!y an~ carried, the request of Union Oil Ccm~m~ny was granted for three over-size d~iveways at proposed service station a% the southwest eormer of 17th and Xing Streets. On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Counc~--~ nah~, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request of T. R. Luckey was granted for an over-size drive- way at 2-103 North Rosewood Avenue. On recc~sendation of the Maua~r and on motion of Counc~!m-- ~½1, seconded by Heinly and carried, the request of K & C Produce Distributors for an over-size drive way on Ea~t Third Street, Just east of Lacy Street, was ~ranted. The Council having ~,,A,~mmusly waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of establishing a green zone on the north side of East Chestnut Avenue, between Ninnie Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad, in accoraa-ce with request of Cl~--- Manufacturing Cc~pany, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noe~, CoU~Icl lm~l Absent, Coune! ~,~u Dale H. None None On motion of Counc~l-~- Neinly, seconded by Dah~ and carried, the matter of estab- lish~nE a twenty-four minute parking zone on the north side of Edinger between ~in and Syc~ore Street was referred to the curb usage c~tttee for rec~'~tntion.
