Parking Areas <br /> <br />In addition to trees around the perimeter of the parking area, <br />trees equal in number to one for each 5 parking spaces shall be <br />provided within all parking areas. <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />Tree-planted landscaped areas within the parking lot shall have <br />no dimension less than four ~eet including the thickness of <br />raised curbing and shall be supplemented with suitable shrubs or <br />groundcover. <br /> <br />A buffer strip in front of parking areas shall be developed in <br />one of two manners along all street frontages. Such buffer strips <br />shall be planted with trees at a quantity equivalent to one for <br />each 30 lineal feet and with suitable shrubs, groundcovers and <br />berms. (See Page 29 for illustrations) <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />A landscaped planter area of not less than 8 feet in <br />depth may be provided, and if the planter area abuts <br />the forward end of a parking space, the planter area <br />shall be enlarged by 3 feet so that the raised con- <br />crete curb along the planter edge shall be used as <br />the wheel stop; or <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />A landscaped planter area between 3 feet and 8 feet <br />in depth may be provided with a 3 feet to 3 feet <br />6 inches high masonry wall along the parking lot <br />side of the planter area (see Walls and Fences). <br /> <br />d.
