RESOLUTION NO. 96- 087 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF PROJECTS <br />TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY <br />FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION <br />FUNDING PROGRAMS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Sama Ana: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Sama Ana desires to implement the transportation improvements <br />listed below; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange County <br />Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" <br />funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana's Circulation Element is consistent with the County <br />of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for <br />transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA requests the Orange County Transportation Authority to allocate funds in the <br />amounts specified in the City's application to Santa Aha from the Combined Transportation <br />Funding Programs for the following projects: <br /> <br />Recommended Projects <br /> <br />Fiscal Year <br /> <br />Fairview/MacArthur Intersection Widening <br />Harbor/Warner Intersection Widening <br />Euclid Avenue Traffic Management Project <br />Santa Ana/Orange TSIA Surveillance Project <br />MacArthur Boulevard Surveillance <br />Edinger/Fairview Intersection Widening <br />17th Street Surveillance (major int.) <br />Downtown Signal Improvemems <br />Portable Video Imaging Detection System <br />Teleconferencing Centers (SARTC/City Yard) <br />North Bristol System Detection/Surveillance <br />First Street System Detection <br />Warner Avenue Bridge (preliminary design) <br />Westminster Widening: West to Euclid <br />SR-55/Edinger (row acquisition/widening) <br /> <br />1997/98 <br />1997/98 <br />1997/98 <br />1997/98 <br />1997/98 <br />1998/99 <br />1998/99 <br />1998/99 <br />1998/99 <br />1998/99 <br />1999/00 <br />1999/00 <br />1999/00 <br />2000/01 <br />2000/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
