The purpose of this study is to ensure that offset light impacts <br />to the adjacent residential neighborhood will not exceed 0.2 foot candle. This study shall <br />be submitted to the City of Santa Ana Police Department, Crime Prevention Sergeant. <br /> <br />Timing of Implementation/Verification Prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />Building plan check <br /> <br />Responsible Parties <br /> <br />Police Department: Crime Prevention <br />Sergeant; Planning Division: Case Planner; <br />Environmental Coordinator <br /> <br />To minimize excessive light and glare, building exteriors shall utilize a low reflective glass. <br />Mirrored glass and other highly reflective building materials shall not be utilized on the <br />exterior of the building. <br /> <br />Timing of Implementation/Verification Prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />Building plan check and field inspection <br /> <br />Building Division: Senior Plan Check <br />Engineer; Inspection Services Manager; <br />Planning Division: Case Planner; <br />Environmental Coordinator <br /> <br />Exterior building courts and corridor illumination shall be designed to minimize intrusive <br />glare at nearby residences.
