21 <br /> <br />GAS: 1/30/98 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 010 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 97-06 APPROVING THE <br />CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br />(GPA 97-06) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65302(b) requires <br />a General Plan to contain a circulation element which reflects <br />current transportation issues and addresses the community's long- <br />term goals for a comprehensive circulation system, all correlated <br />with the land use element of the plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Circulation Element will replace the <br />Circulation Element previously adopted in 1984; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha, <br />after noticed public hearing, recommended that the City Council <br />approve General Plan Amendment No. 97-06, approving the <br />Circulation Element of the General Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, on February 2, 1998, held a duly <br />noticed public hearing on said Circulation Element of the General <br />Plan; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Circulation Element of General Plan Amendment 97-06 <br />is hereby amended, adopted and approved.
