'185 <br /> <br />GAS: 6/9/98 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-027 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING GENERAL <br />PI2%N AMENDMENT NO. 98-02 APPROVING THE <br />URBAN DESIGN ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL <br />PLAN (GPA 98-02) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65303 permits the <br />General Plan to contain other elements or address any other <br />subjects which relate to the physical development of the City; and <br /> <br /> W/qEREAS, the proposed Urban Design Element will replace the <br />Urban Design Element previously adopted in 1982; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, <br />after noticed public hearing, recommended that the City Council <br />approve General Plan Amendment No. 98-02, approving the Urban <br />Design Element of the General Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, on July 6, 1998, held a duly noticed <br />public hearing on said Urban Design Element of the General Plan. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Urban Design Element of General Plan Amendment 98-02 <br />is hereby amended, adopted and approved.
