NEWPORT &DYER A letter from Councilman Harvey S. E. ANNEX relative to the Newport and Dyer Annexation was received and ordered filed on motion of Councilman Eubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried. Councilman Harvey asked the Council to provide more information to the public, not only in the annexation proceedings, but in other areas, such as the written agenda and oral presenta- tion of matters on the agenda to generate the interest and participation of citizens in the government of the City. ALTERATION OF On motion of Councilman Hubbard, DRIVEWAY seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council approved the request from Max White, Regional Vice President, State Farm Insurance Companies, 1727 W. 17th Street, for waiver of Section 7216 of the Municipal Code and granting permission to alter an existing drive- way fronting on College Avenue. SOLICITATION REQUESTS the following: On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council granted permission to conduct fund raising drives to Kent S.
