RESOLUTION NO. 19 9 9 - 0 18 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ALLOCATE ADDITIONAL <br />POSITIONS IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 18, 1998, the City Council passed and adqpted Ordinance No. NS- <br />2348, which establishes the City's Annual budget, authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year <br />1998-99, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized <br />positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been received through the Empqwerment Zone designation from the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development authorizing the hiring of staff to administer <br />the Empowerment Zone programs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1998-99 Annual Budget to effect the <br />addition of these positions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99, as amended, be further amended <br />by allocating one additional EmPloyment Development Specialist II position, one additional <br />Economic Development Aide position and one additional Senior Office Assistant position. <br /> <br /> 2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual Budget <br />for Fiscal Year 1998-99 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> 3.
