Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter B~ooks, <br />Davis Burk, Wade Rerrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tom NcNichael and Mayor Harry H. <br />Harvey. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF ~R~u~fES On motion of Councilman <br /> McMichael, seconded by <br /> Councilman Herrin and <br /> carried, Council approved <br />the ~Linutes of the Regular Meeting of March 7, 1966. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION On motion of Councilman <br /> Gilmore, seconded by <br /> Councilman ~rk and <br /> carried, Council adjourned <br />to Executive Session to discuss personnel matters at 2:07 p.m;the meeting <br />resumed in the Council Chamber at 3:28 p.m. with all Councilmen present. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - <br />PROJ. C-131 <br /> <br />at Sycamore and Walnut. <br /> <br /> The City Manager presented <br /> report of bids received <br /> for Project C-131, construction <br />of Fire Station Parking Lot <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Councilman <br /> <br />Bmrk and carried, Council ordered filed report of bids received, awarded <br />contract to R. J. Noble Company at unit prices, and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />B//) AWARD - <br />PR(LT. 235 <br /> <br />to Tustin Avenue. <br /> <br /> The City Manager presented <br /> report of bids received for <br /> Project 235, widening of ~th <br /> Street fram Santa Ama Freeway <br />On motion of Coune~lmau ~ooks, seconded by Councilman <br /> <br />Nerrin and carried, Council ordered filed report of bids received, awarded <br />contract to R. J. Noble Campany at unit prices, and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />POLICE BUILDING The City Manager requested <br /> additional time for study of <br /> bids received for construction <br /> of addition to Police Facilities <br />Building. On motion of Councilman. Markel, seconded by Councilm-- Burk and <br />carried, Council approved postponement of the award of this bid until <br />April 4, 1966. <br /> <br />BID AWARD = <br />~TERS <br /> <br />The City ~anager presented <br />report of bids received for <br />annual requirements for 5/8" <br />x 3/4" damestic ty~e water <br />meters, without connections, Spec. 665-20. On motion of Councilman Markel, <br />seconded by Councilman Nerrin and carried, Council ordered filed report of <br />bids received, awarded contract to the Rockwell F~mufacturing Company at <br />unit price, and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - The City Manager presented <br />FI$~ PAP~K report of one bid received <br /> for construction of building <br /> at Fisher Park, Spec. 672-19. <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried, <br />CITY COUNCIL - ~82 - March 21~ 1966 <br /> <br /> <br />
