ARTICLE XVI <br /> <br />16.0 RESIDENCY <br /> <br />16.1 <br /> <br />Employees covered by this Agreement are permitted to reside outside the limits of <br />Santa Aha so long as such residency is not an unreasonable distance from, nor <br />requires an unreasonable response time to, the particular employee's place of <br />employment. It shall not be deemed an unreasonable distance within the meaning <br />of this section if the employee resides within the area ora circle drawn with the City <br />Hall of the City of Santa Aha as the center and the radius of which extends to the <br />southern most point of the County of Orange. <br /> <br />Any employee desiring to take advantage of the opportunity to reside outside <br />of the area stated within this section shall first request permission to do so <br />from the Department Head. Said request shall be granted by the Department <br />Head if he or she determines the intended residence is not an unreasonable <br />distance from and/or does not require an unreasonable time to the employee's <br />place of employment. <br /> <br />If the Department Head refuses the said request, the employee shall have a <br />right to appeal said determination to the City Manager. <br /> <br />52 <br /> <br /> <br />
