Councilman Herrin and carried, on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Herrin, Brooks, Patterson, Thurman, Villa, Griset <br />NOES: Marks1 <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />FINAL MAP, TRACT 6745 Final Tract Map 6745, filed by Santiago <br /> Development Corp. (Waverly Homes), <br /> creating 52 lots south of MacArthur <br />between Flower and Main, was approved, dedications thereon accepted, and <br />execution of subdivision agreement authorized on motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />seconded by Councilman Patterson and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />BUILDING PERMITS City Manager reported that the Building <br /> Department had issued over eight million <br /> dollars in building permits for the fiscal <br />year to date; that it is estimated that figure will exceed ten million dollars by the <br />end of the month; that this represents over one and one-half million dollars more <br />than the City has ever previously issued; and that it will result in an increase in <br />the City's assessed valuation and in a need for additional personnel. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL <br /> <br />Mayor announced the appointment of <br />Councilman Walter Brooks as the Council's <br />representative on the Community Action <br />Council. <br /> <br />SANTA ANA FREEWAY Appointment of Mr. Eugene Moriarity to <br />COMMITTEE the Santa Ana Freeway Committee was <br /> unanimously approved on motion of <br />Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Thurman. <br /> <br />CITIZEN-GOVERNMENT Appointments of Mr. William D. Jackson <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE and Mr. William Squier to the Citizen- <br />FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY Government Advisory Committee for <br /> Traffic Safety were unanimously approved <br />on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Thurman. <br /> <br />HUMAN RELATIONS COORDINATOR <br /> <br />May 1, 1969. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor recognized Mrs. Janice Boer, <br />912 N. Lowell Street, who recommended <br />that Council seriously consider: <br /> <br />The City Manager introduced Mr. Robert <br />S.
