It is a digital <br />microprocessor-based control system specifically designed to meet the particular needs of <br />modernizing traction elevators. The system is a distributed network of modular <br />microprocessor control units and solid-state performance measurement devices. The <br />measurement transducers constantly monitor the performance of every controlled elevator <br />function. The control units evaluate this performance information and automatically adjust <br />performance as necessary to correct deviations within milliseconds. The sofl-aare <br />dispatches elevators based upon time response to actual demands on the elevator group.
