r <br /> Modified Miscellaneous Fees <br /> LIBRARY <br /> 5) Material Recovery Surcharge <br /> Existing Fee: $8.00 per account <br /> Adjustment: $10.00 per account <br /> Department: Administration/Circulation <br /> This fee will offset the City's cost of using a collection agency in retrieving the lost or <br /> damaged item. <br /> 6) Video Cassettes /DVD/Rentals <br /> Existing Fee: $1.00 Per 2 Weeks <br /> Adjustment: $1.00 Per 1 Week <br /> Department: Administration/Circulation <br /> This adjustment accommodates the increased rental demand for popular videocassette and <br /> DVD's by reducing the check out period from two weeks to one week. <br /> 7) Library Card Replacement <br /> Existing Fee: $1.00 Per Card <br /> Adjustment: $2.00 Per Card <br /> Department: Administration/Circulation <br /> This fee will attempt to recover the costs of replacement plus encourage the safeguarding <br /> of cardholders existing cards.
