There are several reasons why I have come to that conclusion. <br /> <br />First, OBP wi1l bring good paying jobs to Santa Ana. Construction ofa 37-storybuilding win <br />have a significant effect on our local economy. As you know, the construction industry has a <br />large multiplier effect on the economy, creating two additional jobs elsewhere in the construction <br />sector and in other parts of the economy. Not only construction jobs, but once built, the t.ailding <br />win provide jobs for Santa Ana residents as wen. <br /> <br />Second, OBP has worked with its neighbors in addressing their concerns. Orange County High <br />School of the Arts as well as the El Sol Academy are in support ofOBP. Since these schools win <br />be immediately impacted, it is a testament to the cooperation and thought that has gone into this <br />project. Traffic is an issued that I trust you will continue to address, not only for the area around <br />OBP, but for the rest of City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Finally, OBP will strengthen Santa Ana's its rightful place as the County seat. One example is <br />KOCE, the only TV station in Orange County.
