<br />~: <br />BOYS & GIRLS tLUB <br />OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />Members of the City Council <br />20 Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br /> <br />Dear Members, <br /> <br />Recently I was asked by our long tenn friend and supporter Mike Harrah at Caribou <br />Industries, Inc. to provide a lerter of support for his new project One Broadway Plaza. <br /> <br />My response was 'Gladly'. <br /> <br />I have always found Mike to be 'a man of vision'. He is tru1y among the first wave of <br />new Urban Pioneers. Vihere others see vacant buildings and blight Mike see's <br />opportunity and growth. <br /> <br />Mike has invested heavily in Santa Ana-and not just in property. Mike has helped to <br />create jobs and has shared his gains with numerous not for profit organizations. <br /> <br />Having been a tenant in two different Caribou properties I can speak from first hand <br />experience on how well they were managed. I am sure his newest project One Broadway <br />Plaza will be well managed, highly successful and help to create hundreds of new jobs <br />here in Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Please give your serious consideration to approving the One Broadway Plaza project. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br /> <br />Cc.
