Mayor Amezcua stated Measure X will sunset soon and is confident that staff is <br />diligently preparing for it. <br />Councilmember Penaloza spoke in favor of workforce increases and emphasized <br />the importance of prompt Civic Center Drive improvements in order to effectively <br />address the budget. <br />Councilmember Phan spoke in support of the alley improvement program and <br />suggested focusing improvement efforts in revenue -generating areas.
