3. Loss of "business income" coverage for the
payroll expense of all your employees other
than officers, executives, department manag-
ers, employees under contract and other
important employees, will apply for a period of
up to 90 consecutive days during the "period
of restoration".

4. The amount of Abusiness income" loss will be
determined based on:

a. the net income of the business before the
insured loss occurred;

b. the likely net income of the business if no
loss occurred;

c. the operating expenses, including payroll
expenses, necessary to resume opera-
tions with the same quality of service that
existed just before the insured loss; and

d. other relevant sources of information,
including:

(1) your financial records and account-
ing procedures;

(2) bills, invoices and other vouchers;
and

(3) deeds, liens or contracts.

5. The amount of "extra expense" loss will be
determined based on:

a. all expenses that exceed the normal
operating expenses that would have
been incurred by operations during the
"period of restoration" if no insured loss
had occurred. We will deduct from the
total of such expenses:

FE-8766.2

(CONTINUED)

(1) the salvage val ue that remains of
any property bought for temporary
use during the "period of restora-
tion", once operations are resumed;
and

(2) any "extra expense" that is paid for
by other insurance, except for insur-
ance that is written subject to the
same plan, terms, conditions and
provisions as this insurance;

b. all necessary expenses that reduce the
"business income" loss that otherwise
would have been incurred.

6. We will not pay for:

a. any "extra expense" or increase of "busi-
ness income" loss caused by suspen-
sion, lapse or cancellation of any license,
lease or contract. But if the suspension,
lapse or cancellation is directly caused by
the suspension of operations, we will
cover such loss that affects your "busi-
ness income" during the "period of resto-
ration" ;

b. any "extra expense" caused by suspen-
sion, lapse or cancellation of any license,
lease or contract beyond the "period of
restoration" ;

c. any other consequential loss; or

d. loss caused by seizure or destruction of
property by order of governmental
authority. But we will pay for acts of
destruction ordered by governmental
authority and taken at the time of a fire to
prevent its spread.
