<br />FE-6617 <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN COVERAGE ENDORSEMENT <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Coverage is extended under SECTION I <br />LOSSES INSURED AND LOSSES NOT <br />INSURED to insure for direct physical loss to <br />covered property caused by an "accident" to <br />"covered equipment". The most we will pay for <br />each covered loss under this endorsement is <br />the limit of insurance that applies to the cov- <br />ered property. Coverage provided under this <br />endorsement does not provide an additional <br />amount of insurance. <br /> <br />Expediting Expenses. We will pay up to <br />$50,000 for the reasonable extra cost to: <br /> <br />(1) make temporary repairs to; and <br /> <br />(2) expedite permanent repairs or per- <br />manent replacement of; <br /> <br />covered property damaged by an "accident" to <br />"covered equipment". This is not an additional <br />amount of insurance. <br /> <br />Drying Out Expenses. We will pay, 'up to the <br />applicable limit of insurance for Coverage A- <br />Buildings or Coverage B - Business Personal <br />Property, whichever applies, the di~ect <br />expenses of drying out wetness in electrical <br />"covered equipment" caused by one of the <br />items listed in paragraph d. of item 1. of <br />LOSSES NOT INSURED. This is not an addi- <br />tional amount of insurance. <br /> <br />The water damage exclusions found in para- <br />graph d. of item 1. of LOSSES NOT INSURED <br />do not apply to this Drying Out Expenses cov- <br />erage. <br /> <br />For the purposes of this endorsement, the fol- <br />lowing is added as item 4. to COVERAGE B - <br />BUSINESS PERSONAL PROPERTY (APPLI- <br />CABLE TO CONTRACTORS POLICY, BUSI- <br />NESS POLICY AND CHURCH POLICY <br />ONLY) : <br /> <br />4. air conditioning and heating equip- <br />ment that is a part of the building or <br />structure you occupy but do not <br />own, if your lease requires you to <br />maintain it. <br /> <br />Urn itations. <br /> <br />a. Ammonia Contamination. Hazardous Substances, The most we <br />will pay for the "increased cost" to repair <br />or replace covered property and the <br />"increased cost" to clean up or dispose of <br />such property caused by "hazardous sub- <br />stance" contamination resulting from an <br />"accident" to "covered equipment" is <br />$50,000, For the purposes of this limita- <br />tion, "increased cost" means costs <br />beyond what would have been required <br />had no "hazardous substance" been <br />involved. <br /> <br />If Coverage C Loss of Income, Loss of <br />Income Endorsement, or Tuition Fees <br />Endorsement is shown in the Declara- <br />tions, any "increased loss" under such <br />coverage caused by "hazardous sub- <br />stance" contamination to covered prop- <br />erty resulting from an "accident" to <br />"covered equipment" will be subject to <br />and included in the same $50,000 limit of <br />insurance. For the purposes of this limita- <br />tion, "increased loss" means any loss or <br />expense covered under Loss of Income <br />or Tuition Fees coverage beyond what <br />would have been sustained or incurred <br />had no "hazardous substance" been <br />involved. <br /> <br />Deductible. The sum of $500 shall be <br />deducted from each loss paid under this <br />endorsement. No other deductible applies to <br />this coverage. <br /> <br />One Loss. If an initial "accident" causes othe r <br />"accidents", all will be considered one loss, All <br />"accidents" that are the result of the same <br />event will be considered one loss. <br /> <br />To the extent of any coverage provided under <br />this endorsement: <br /> <br />a, items 7. and 8. of PROPERTY SUBJECT <br />TO LIMITATIONS are deleted (NOT <br />APPLICABLE TO CONTRACTORS <br />POLICY); <br /> <br />b, items 8. and 9. of PROPERTY SUBJECT <br />TO LIMITATIONS are deleted (APPLI- <br />CABLE TO CONTRACTORS POLICY <br />ONL Y); <br /> <br />7, <br /> <br />8. <br />
