In 1999, Twentieth Century Fox selected Pacific Coast Cabling to provide maintenance services for their structured cabling systems throughout their new and existing buildings in southern California. Pacific Coast Cabling provides services to Fox Plaza, the Fox studio lot (comprised of approximately 84 occupied buildings, sound stages and support facilities) and multiple Fox facilities located throughout the Los Angeles, Calif. area. Pacific Coast Cabling maintains a variety of systems for the company, including Corning LANScape and Avaya SYSTIMAX (copper solutions: GigaSPEED and PowerSUM). These systems are critical as they support Gigabit Ethernet, voice and video applications. Pacific Coast Cabling provides dedicated tools, test equipment, full-time, on-site team members to support the IT department by facilitating daily work orders for moves, adds and changes (MAC) within the Fox campus. Of importance to Twentieth Century Fox Is Pacific Coast Cabling's ability to modify resources based on changing workloads. We are able to scale our resources to support everything from small maintenance projects to department moves and new construction projects. The Pacific Coast Cabling team works under strict deadlines and time sensitivities to support various Fox business units simultaneousty. Additionally, the team must work around production and in varied environments - from traditional drop ceilings to film stages. Recently, the team moved critical networking equipment into a new data center via phased maintenance windows. Despite these challenges, Pacific Coast Cabling has completed all projects on time and within budget. Pacific Coast Cabling is currentty assisting Twentieth Century Fox with planning for future growth by analyzing budgetary and design requirements for cabling/pathway, data center, CAD documentation and closet maintenance. As an Extended Product Warranty provider for both Corning and Avaya, Pacific Coast Cabling is able to honor and supply authorized maintenance services for Twentieth Century Fox's 25-year LANScape and SYSTIMAX warranties.
