PROTEST (POLICE). <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Cherveny, 18592 Medford, Santa Ana, spoke in his own <br />behalf. He stated that the recommendation to protest is based <br />on an erroneous felony charge which is actually a misdemeanor; <br />that his court trial is pending and he has not been found guilty <br />as a receiver of stolen property; and that with respect to the <br />other charge of having a loaded gun in his car, he had been in <br />the process of moving his belongings when he was stopped for <br />not having a tail light.
