<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-016 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA CERTIFYING AND APPROVING THE <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, APPROVING A <br />MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM, AND ADOPTING <br />CERTAIN FACTS, FINDINGS AND A STATEMENT OF <br />OVERRIDING CONSIDERATIONS FOR THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 2725 NORTH MAl N STREET <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. Applicant is requesting approval of various entitlements in order to construct <br />the City Place project, which is a mixed use development with approximately <br />57,700 square feet of commercial space (being a mix of sit-down <br />restaurants, retail and market); and 187 residential units divided as follows; <br />approximately 73 for-sale live-work lofts; approximately 112 for-sale <br />town homes and 2 single family detached homes, all for the approximately <br />17.7 acres located at the northeast corner of Main Street and Memory Lane, <br />2775 North Main Street. <br /> <br />B. On December 13, 2004, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public <br />hearing, and by a vote of 6:1 (Sinclair opposed) voted to recommend that <br />the City Council: <br /> <br />1. Certify and adopt the Final Environmental Impact Report No. <br />2004-01, the Mitigation Monitoring Program, and the Statement of <br />Overriding Considerations. <br /> <br />2. Adopt an ordinance amending to the Specific Development Plan <br />No. 59 (SD-59) (ZOA No. 2004-06). <br /> <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving a conditional use permit for 73 for-sale, <br />live-work units (CUP No. 2004-28). <br /> <br />4. Adopt an ordinance approving an amended and restated <br />Development Agreement (DA No. 2004-04). <br /> <br />5. Adopt a resolution approving Vesting Tentative Map No. 2004-06. <br /> <br />6. Adopt a resolution approving Site Plan Review No. 2004-05. <br /> <br />C. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana held a duly noticed public hearing <br />on the abovesaid actions for City Place on February 7, 2005, and at that <br />time considered all testimony, written and oral. After closing the public <br />hearing, the Council adopted a motion continuing the matter to its February <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005-016 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />75A-279 <br />
