South Coast Plaza is <br />one of the shopping centers. It receives 26 million visitors per year from around <br />the world and is included on the State's list of potential terrorist targets. HaYing <br />the SWAT officers equipped with the proper communications tools adds to the <br />City's ability to protect the citizens in our local community, including the various <br />large metropolitan shopping centers.
