INSURANCE NOT Ji'j ,ilL WORK MAY NOT PROCEED CLERK OF COUNCIL DATE: lUG 3106 N-2004-079-01 6,P"-' U)V~\ THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this first day of August, 2005, by and between National Econ Corporation, ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"), collectively referred to herein as "the Parties", AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT RECIIALS A The Parties entered into that certain agreement entitled "CONSULTANT AGREEMENT dated June 30, 2004", hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement", for the provision of environmental testing in the City; R The Parties hereto now desire to amend the Term and Compensation sections of said Agreement in order to provide continuous uninterrupted service under said Agreement WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: 1, Section 2a, of said Agreement, pertaining to Compensation of said Agreement is hereby amended to provide an additional amount of $4,000,00 during the one-year term extension of said Agreement 2, Section 3, of said Agreement, pertaining to Term of said Agreement is hereby amended to extend the Term of said Agreement until June 30, 2006, 3, Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said Agreement the date and year first above written, ATTEST: 'P;;~~<:l~;cy~i Clerk of the Councii ClTYOFS~/ a /;2..
