<br />RFP NO. 2004-009 <br /> <br />ADDENDUM NO.1 <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR PROVIDING VENDING SERVICES <br />AT DAN YOUNG SOCCER COMPLEX <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that the City of Santa Ana, Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Agency has made certain modifications, additions, and/or deletions, in the specifications to RFP <br />NO: 2004-009. This addendum shall become a part of the original Request for Proposal due by <br />5:00 p.m. on March 10,2004. <br /> <br />This addendum is provided in response to questions' asked at the pre-proposal conference <br />conducted on February 18. <br /> <br />1. Regarding the Catering truck servlcmg the Rancho Santiago College complex <br />located at Centennial Park; will this vendor continue this service on College District <br />property? <br /> <br />Yes. This catering truck has a separate agIeement with the college district, which is limited to <br />college district property. <br /> <br />2. Would it be possible to park the catering truck closer to the east fence to be more <br />visible to the school? <br /> <br />Yes. When the school opens, the vending truck operator may contact the Park Superintendent <br />for exact location and schedule. Per the S.A.M.C., the vending operation must remain on DYSC <br />property <br /> <br />3. Will the agreement require Orange County Health Department certified food <br />handler permits? <br /> <br />Yes. <br /> <br />4. How will the vending truck operators power cash registers and other appliances? <br /> <br />The vending truck operators will need to provide a generator to generate their own power. <br />Extension cords cannot be used. <br /> <br />1 <br />
