Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the <br />month contract period including, services to be provided, program goals, client <br />characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />The primary goal is to support The Lyon Street Parent Center, a Family Resource Center located <br />inside of an apartment complex. The services to be provided are information and referral, <br />homework club/tutoring, computer lab, case management, health access, school readiness <br />program, lending library, literacy and parenting skills. <br />The goal is to be able to continue with the services provided at the Center and increases the <br />number of volunteers to work at the different programs. <br />
