(AMTRAK) for passenger train <br />transportation service at The Depot at Santa Ana. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In 1985, AMTRAK and The City of Santa Ana entered into an agreement for <br />ticket/office space at The Depot at Santa Ana. In order to continue this <br />relationship, AMTRAK has requested a new 20-year license agreement that <br />would include 3 five-year options to extend with the same terms and <br />conditions upon agreement of both parties. <br />The license agreement would be for Suite 102 for ticket sales and <br />includes related passenger boarding and baggage uses. The total <br />ticket/office space leased by AMTRAK will be 2,135 square feet. The <br />starting monthly compensation rate for the license agreement will be <br />twenty six hundred dollars ($2,600) a month with automatic annual <br />adjustments payable every other year of the license term. <br />The continued license agreement with AMTRAK at The Depot will result in <br />revenues of at least $31,200 annually and will ensure continued AMTRAK <br />train services at The Depot at Santa Ana. <br />25E-1 <br />
