Assessment activities <br />included the eolJectionof bulk samples of suspected asbestos-containing building materials for <br />laboratory analysis. The South Coast Air Quality Management District was very active in <br />conducting a follow-up assessment and abatement. <br /> <br />Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Los Angeles, CA <br />Performed Phase r ESA, subsurface investigation to assess the type and the extent of <br />contaminants: in subsurface soils, and performed a remedial action plan (RAP) for subsurface soil <br />clean up. In situ bioventing has been proposed as a viable remedial option for the site. The clean- <br />up is pending agency aPproval of the RAP. <br /> <br />Phase I Preliminary Eilvlronmental Site Assessments (ESA), Various Sites and Clients, CA <br />Conducted Phase J ESAs in accordance with ASTM Standards for numerous sites in Southern <br />California. The scope of work included aerial photograph review, agency record search/review, <br />personnel interviews, on-site and off-site reconnaissance, and limited sampling, if required. <br />Studies were':conducted to assist a prospective buyer, seller, or financier in making an informed <br />decision regarding the possible presence of contamination at a site. <br /> <br />PreUminary Site ASJ~ment Riverside, CA <br />Conducted a preliminary assessment for the Riverside County Flood Control District. The preliml- <br />mllY assessment was performed in accordance with ASTM guidelines and included aerial photo- <br />graph review: records review, personnel interViews, on-site and off-site reconnaissance, and limited <br />soil sampling. Project inanagement responsibilities involved direction of project staff, project <br />quality asSUIllilce, health and safety oversight, schedule and fllllll1cial traoking, and client liaison <br /> <br />Phase I Site Assessments MODterey Park, CA <br />Division of the State Architect (DSA), California Highway Patrol (CHP) East Los Angeles Area <br />Office, Monterey Parlc,: California.
