The result of the assessment activities was that one site had trace concentrations of HYOCs beneath the foundation slab, arid the other site had highly elevated HVOC concentrations in the soil beneath a floor drain beneath the dry oleaners. The bank foreclosed on the site with trace HVOC concentrations and re-negotiated the loan for the contaminated site.
