("COIltractor"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The City and COIItractor enlered into thai certain Agreement, entitled" AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SAN JOAQUIN CHEMICAL. INC.", <br />hereinafter referred 10 as "said Agreement", daled September 17, 1999, for Contractor 10 <br />provide waler treatment, inspections, testing and analysis for the Santa Ana Police <br />Departmenl Facility. Said Agreement was amended on August 30, 2000 to extend the <br />tenn and expand the scope of services to cover The Depot as well, <br /> <br />B. The parties now desire to exercise the second option and amend the term included in said <br />Agreement <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in con.sideration of the mutual and respective promises hereinafter <br />contained and made, and subject 10 all the temIS and COIlditions of said Agreemenl as hereby <br />amended, the parties do bereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. The term of said Agreement, which. is contained in Section I., shan be amended, to exercise <br />the second one-year option for renewal for continued service at the same price and <br />COmpeDSatiOll, therefore, the new date CJf termination shall be September 30, 2002; and <br /> <br />2.
