The Consultant will contact federal agencies on the City's behalf when City <br />applications are under consideration by such agencies and otherwise take <br />whatever steps that appear to be necessary to obtain the most favorable <br />consideration of such applications. <br /> <br />K. In fulfilling responsibilities under this Agreement, the Consultant will act in the <br />name of the City of Santa Ana and with the title Washington Representative to the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />L. The Consultant shall focus its efforts on the following: <br /> <br />I. Assist the City in securing full funding for its federally designated <br />Empowerment Zone; <br /> <br />2. Assist the City in its efforts to obtain funding for the Bristol Street <br />Widening Project; and <br /> <br />3. Assist the City in its efforts to obtain funding for the Rehabilitation of <br />Water Production Wells. <br />
