<br />~ <br /> <br />...,./ <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />GOALS AND OBJECTIVES/ <br />IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY <br /> <br />In the space below, please list the primary goals and objectives for your program. Prollide <br />projected numbers of Santa Ana residents to be ser.ed, and the kinds of services they would <br />receive if your program is funded. Also describe the specific actions and tasks th?~ \',Quid be <br />performed on a day-to-day basis to achieve these goals. <br /> <br />See Appendix A for examples. . <br />GOAL: <br />Provide crisis intervention, information/referral, and listening to the community <br />from 8:00a.m. to 12 midnight, days per week. The populations to be served are <br />the lower income and at risk families, individuals, elderly, and youth of Santa Ana. <br />Obiectives: <br />1. Increase calls from Santa Ana in 2002-03 by 10%, which will be 2,335. <br />Task/Action: <br />. Market our service using brochures, handouts, flyers, posters, and public service <br />announcements. We wiD distribute these materials to public locations, schools, <br />physicians offices, and agencies. We will develop specific target campaigns to <br />promote understanding and knowledge of our services within the low and <br />moderate income areas of Santa Ana. <br />. All calls will be logged, maintaining statistics for age, gender, city, ethnicity, <br />income, type of call and resolution. Reports will be provided on.a monthly basis <br />to our Board of Directors and on a quarterly basis to the City of Santa Ana. <br />2. Provide at least 2 listeners per shift, vacation coverage and emergency resources. <br />Task/Action: <br />. Conduct four training session in 2002-03 resulting in 70 new listeners. <br />3. Maintain the currency of our information and referral data base to provide our <br />callers with up to date information regarding shelters, housing, financial <br />assistance and other related issues. <br />Task/Action: <br />. Update our information and referral data base on a monthly basis. <br />GOAL: <br />Provide an outreach service, the Good Neighbor Line, to those who are homebound <br />due age, illness or disability; utilizing trained volunteers to call on a regular basis <br />and maintain emergency contacts, ifneeded. <br />Obiectives: <br />1. Increase clients from Santa Ana by 5% in 2002-03, which will be 120. <br />T ask/Action: <br />. Market GNL through service agencies, churches, hospitals and senior centers. <br />2. Provide trained volunteers, vacation coverage and an emergency resources. <br />Task/Action: <br />.
